THE KID - 2025 Fiction Short Film- Director, writer
In her late thirties, María inhabits a surreal "waiting state" where the pressure of her ticking biological clock manifests as a recurring, symbolic fetus, forcing her to confront the gap between social expectations and her own reality.
* Winner Best Indie Short Film at East Village New York Film Festival 2025
* Official Selection at San Francisco Frozen Film festival 2025
DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT
The Kid comes from a very personal place, thinking about the silent pressure women feel regarding their bodies and the clock. I didn't want to make a movie about a woman making a big, clear choice. Instead, I wanted to show Maria in her late thirties, just... waiting. She's in that weird middle ground where she's looking for the right person while the world tells her she's running out of time. I used the surreal image of the fetus not to be literal, but to show how the idea of motherhood is always there in the background, like an unspoken negotiation between what she actually wants and what society expects.

AFTER A BREAK UP 2024 Hybrid Doc Short Film- Director, writer
A woman wanders through the city, lost in thought as she contemplates an unexpected invitation from her ex to reconnect.
* Official Selection at Oranssi Helsinki Film Fest 2025
DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT
We've all been there, getting that "friends with benefits" text from an ex that feels more like a slap in the face than an invitation. I wanted to capture the feeling of wandering through the city, stuck between missing someone and remembering how badly they actually treated you. It's that exhausting back-and-forth where you're tempted to go back just because it's familiar, even if it's toxic. The film is about that turning point where the nostalgia fades and you finally choose yourself, realizing that closing the door for good is the only way to move forward.

EMOTIONAL DRIVE 2019 Fiction Short Film- Director, writer
DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT
This film is about the frustration of being "frozen" by trauma. I wanted to show what it's like when you're so overwhelmed by your past that you literally can't find the words to speak or connect with the people around you. You feel like you don't belong anywhere. Everything just stays trapped in your body, building up more and more. I wanted the audience to feel that heavy silence and the exasperation of being stuck inside your own head. It's about reaching that moment where the body can't stay frozen anymore, and you're forced to finally confront what you haven't been able to say.

MY GIRLFRIEND THE HOBO 2018 Fiction Short Film- Director, writer
A man finds heartfelt writings left along the street. As he follows the trail, he discovers the meaning of true connection despite social class barriers.
DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT
With this film, I wanted to look at the "masks" we all wear to fit into our social classes. By following a trail of notes left on the street, the main character starts to see past the way people dress or the status they hold. It's a story about realizing that, underneath all that, we're actually not that different. I wanted to show that the things we hide or write down in private are what truly connect us, far more than the roles we play in public.
